Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form below if you are interested in preparing the altar, or serving in worship as an acolyte or chalicist.

While we do not offer childcare or child-specific programming at St. Barney's at this time, we are eager to establish a Children's Ministry as soon as possible. If you have childcare worker contacts, ideas about Sunday evening programming or other child, youth, or family events, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form. We are praying that God calls the right leaders to establish this crucial ministry.

For the time being, we are looking forward to joining Church of the Resurrection for some of their family events such as the Children's Christmas Pageant Program, Easter Family Fun Day, and ResCamp.

Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form if you are interested in greeting worshippers on Sunday evenings, directing people to the Sanctuary, parking, or helping to pass the plate during the offertory.

Immediately following worship every week, we gather for Coffee Hour in the Fellowship Room across from the Sanctuary. Two people are needed prior to service to setup snacks, mix lemonade, make coffee, etc. Volunteers normally begin setup for Coffee Hour at 4:00pm. 

After worship on the third Sunday of every month, we look forward to enjoying a Potluck Fellowship together! Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form if you would like to help organize our Potluck Fellowships, Coffee Hours, etc.

If you don’t want a leadership role with hospitality, and simply want to contribute a dish every now and then, or help with setup or cleanup, you can SIGN UP HERE from week-to-week.

Friends of St. Barney's meet for prayer every Tuesday at 1:00pm; sometimes in-person and sometimes virtual. If you’d like to join this group or sign up to receive prayer requests to pray on your own, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and Rev. Patrick will get in touch with you.

We need three Readers per service; one for the Old Testament passage, one for the Psalm, and one for the New Testament passage. Readings are emailed to you a few days prior to the service, and they are printed in large font and set on the lectern. Please submit the Volunteer Interest Form if you would like to be added into this rotation of readers.

While we do not livestream our worship services at this time, we do use microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and a soundboard each week. Only one Tech Team volunteer is needed per service, and setup is simple and quick. (The assigned volunteer could arrive at 4:30pm for 5:00pm worship.) This role involves powering on the soundboard, changing microphone batteries, setting up two microphone stands, and running a sound check. After setup, not much is needed during the service, if at all. Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form if you're interested in filling this need.
